US thinks Linux is operating system

Shitty thread. It's normal that big institutions institutions call the system "Linux" instead of "GNU/Linux", because they don't know the system's history, or it is inconvenient to them to say "GNU" and "free software". Imagine what would happen if all people using for exaple Android, thinking that it's open source and "Linux", realised that it doesn't respect users' freedom? When you say "Linux" you mean convenience, when you say "open source" instead of "free software", you mean it is easy to develop, cheap, nothing more.

This is what happens, when you don't know history:

Funny, because GNU was started in 1984.
Motherfuckers. What is GNU C lib, GNU bash, GNOME? They made just the kernel, and stole all credits and developers, whereas we have to say GNU/Linux.
