Alternatively you can say it wasn't happening because whites still controlled the state but that they saw a time when white rule would be diminished and a race war would become inevitable. The term "race war" is kind of a silly word when taking the word "war" from its logical understanding as an event that's supposed to happen and then history moves on. Putting it in its continual form where live is a never-ending race war makes the term accurate as it is inaccurate depending on the phrasing. Same word games when struggling to point out genocide. People have an artificial perception of what is classified as genocide ever since WW2 and if they don't see that through the right lens like in South Africa they can easily dismiss it entirely despite the phrasing being correct. Both accurate and inaccurate depending on the context and peoples perceptions of the Age in question.
The race war truly began after the Civil War when the North imposed black rule on the South to degrade the whites in the region. Once you gave the non-whites that sip of power they've focused on our position in the greater scheme of things far better than we have, which is why you had blacks in the 1910's, 20's, and 30's talking about in the future blacks will rule over whites here in America. They saw things far more clearly than your white intellectual did who was too busy mentally masturbating his ideas while he was dominant unable to see his eventually decline. We're paying for it ever since.
When we compare the High Culture and Primitives to one another each forget the power of the other because they aren't in-tune with what they currently are not. The primitive never forgets natures instincts or the struggle like the high culture types often do. Like wise the high culture depends on their intellectual assets to constantly "save the day" so to speak when they run into very dire problems. The high culture usually wins but destroys itself in the process and has to start all over. Is this going to be a non-stop circular cycle or are we flirting with fate playing Russian roulette? How many times can we play this before finally realizing what needs to be done or getting wiped out?

Bring up the various slave revolts especially the Abaco slave revolt which started in 1787, the 1733 slave insurrection on St. John, and Tacky's rebellion in 1760. While you can't use Haiti's revolt as an example, you can look at the violence occurring between the blacks and whites on the island.
