Here is how downtown Vancouver works; the rush hour for the real people starts at 4:30 AM with everyone rushing to work in the business district; Vancouver runs on Toronto Stock Exchange time. By 5:00 AM the businessmen are at their desks with courriers bringing their breakfasts to their desks. By noon they're done work and headed for some restaurant for lunch/dinner while all the good for nothing welfare types are starting to clog the streets. Nobody seems to be working. Even schoolkids in their uniforms are loitering around doing nothing. By 4 PM you want to get the fuck out of there; the area around the modern Erickson courthouse is turning into a scene from Dawn of the Dead; the crystal meth addicts are coming out of their holes to haunt the streets of downtown. Disgusting.
