Either way utopias are always just imaginings of a place that you think would be perfect but reality often crushes those dreams because human minds are not capable of simulating the real world perfectly. The ideal utopian communism would be a pretty swell system to be under IF it worked perfectly as advertised just like any other utopia by definition, but it don't because reality begs to differ. When people get in their heads that the world would be a perfect place IF ONLY THESE SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES HAPPENED, they lose sight of reality and become zealots pushing for infinite retries of a failed system. It's always a bunch of if onlys. The only way to reach a nicely working society is through trial and error, not through some magical fixes and even then it will never be perfect.

We begin to dream of utopia, the land/state/perfect ideology, perfectly realized that will end the struggle so that we can continue with the soft, pleasant life of a domesticated animal.
But there is always struggle, and struggle is good.
