That's not what it does. Future Authoring is a set of essay prompts designed to get you to think about your life as a narrative arc with yourself as the main character. It gets you to detail your past, present, and then hypothetical futures. You do stuff like identify your weaknesses and then write out descriptions of potential futures you could have, including the ones where you fall to your vices. The idea is that it helps aimless people frame their life in context, giving them a better sense of their goals, and the consequences of giving up or indiscretion.
