Doesn't change the fact Air Craft carriers are largely useless in modern warfare. This isn't the 1940's and they were shit back then as well. Submarines have largely destroyed the entire purpose of surface water fleets. The only reason they continue is because there hasn't been any nations Navy on equal footing with one who has a surface fleet to show how retarded they are.
If any nation worth a shit with offensive capabilities that isn't third world went to war enjoy losing thousands of people within the first minute of a naval conflict.

You don't understand the point of aircraft carriers. It's force projection. The Chinese want one because they can better control the south china sea.
Regarding how little you actually know about aircraft carriers. That's a meme. Of course they will be targetted first, but outside of nuking them (and that will be tried) nothing will work. Subs won't be able to find or catch them. Surface ships will be killed before they get close and unless the Carrier group is stupid (they aren't) they won't ever be close enough to shore to be at risk.
You have no idea how effective modern anti-missile defenses actually are.
