This has come to my attention for a while now but it seems the jews really have a distain for cats.
This could be for many reasons like back in the good old days when the Egyptians enslaved them. Maybe they're still salty about that.

This is clearly an effort to get less people to go for cats and instead go for dogs(which in themselves are bad but dogs and cats are fundamentally different which I will explain now).
Dogs are submissive and will do anything you tell them to and they will do it. While a cat you have to earn its respect. Its similar to smart people vs dumb people. The cat people are the ones who are more introverted and have an animal that is independent while the dog needs your constant attention. This also correlates with jews because they want more people to become like dogs.
Then there is the thing that cats kill 24 billion rats and birds every year and this is a bad thing. No it isn't rodents and birds are notorious at spreading diseases, stealing our food and being annoying as shit.
There was a reason Egyptians worshipped cats its not because they saw them as gods. Its mainly because they helped them grow crops and are one of the best forms of pest control(also helps that they're cute as shit but that is just down to personal preference.
Now that I am looking at it I should have added that cats are 90% of the time in cat vs dog shows portrayed as the villains.

When I went to the vet over 5 years ago they said my cat had "aids" and recommended it was put down. Thankfully the vet was probably only told to say this, because she hinted it would not be necessary.
Needless to say, cat is still here and doing fine. Been wondering about that ever since, why vets are told to put down cats who definitely aren't ill or in need of any medical attention (mine was just malnourished due to bad teeth).

I love both dogs and cats. While I've always enjoyed the dog park and friends' dogs, I have only and only ever will own cats. They are very affectionate but can take years to warm up to you. Its true what OP says, you have to earn their respect. You have to learn each particular cat's mode of communication, too: they do tell you what they want, express their emotional state, etc. They're also extremely useful in hunting down rodents and spiders. Not to mention, they fuck off most of the time and aren't annoying.

I own a farm and with it comes a small flock of barn cats. They keep rodents at bay, I feed them, they generally don't bother anyone and the local bird population is not dumb enough to get caught by cats (but then again this is Europe where birds and cats have coexisted since the time being). I suspect that with the whole toxoplasmosis ordeal y'all niggers seem to be looking for a boogeyman and ignoring a couple of things. Humans and cats have lived together for thousands of years, however, for the majority of this time cats have been living (and shitting) outdoors. Your biggest chance of getting toxoplasmosis is by coming in contact with cat shit, a.k.a cleaning the litterbox. When the cats live outside, they shit outside, and generally bury their crap in places where you won't go digging through it. Maybe people who live in small apartments shouldn't keep both cats and dogs and stick to something like fish, because both of these animals do need a certain degree of freedom.

Cats started hanging around humans in Mesopotamia because mice went for our grain storage when we first started agriculture. They didn't eat the grain but they killed the rodents so we took them everywhere with us even though they never lived indoors till recently. My cat, which usually only sleeps indoors in the winter, likes to catch squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, and birds, then bring them up to me and drop them at my feet when I'm opening the front door to go inside. He tries to help provide for the family or at least show me he does his epigenetically programmed job. However dogs are man's true best friend.
