Not only does everyone now receive participation trophies, but, thanks to our culture of equality, modern relativism, and socialism, we've rid people of a proper conception of good-and-bad, superior-and-inferior, and have installed a safety net under everyone in the name of welfare. Today, there's almost no such thing as losing because everything has been made so easy and safe and fair. Capitalism is also to blame for creating an over-abundance of stuff. You don't need to be a winner to get the stuff you need, and more, these days. Every fat, lazy idiot has a supercomputer in his pocket and plenty of food in his pantry. Lower IQ is correlated with higher rates of obesity but you need resources to get fat. Heck, the lowest IQ groups live better and eat better than the greatest kings of yore. And they don't even have to try to acquire any of it. If you are born in the West, you're born winning in comparison to the rest of the world. Perhaps this could also explain the higher levels of neuroticism and psychopathy of African-Americans compared to their African counterparts.
What do you do remedy this brain over stimulation and resultant shut down of progress of learning?

This does make sense. It goes beyond participation trophies at school though. More generally, the worst behavior we see from SJWs is basically adults throwing toddler tantrums. In saner parenting days this sort of behavior would be beaten out of them if necessary, but many recent generation parents completely abdicated their responsibilities and raised kids that expect to be pandered to at every stage in life. They're simply defectives that cannot cope with the realities of life and expect others to carry the burden.
