EU ARE INTERFERING IN ITALIAN ELECTION RESULT

Well he seems to still be fighting! That's a good sign! A weaker man would have collapsed!

Haven't recent polls shown Lega increasing in popularity? Wouldn't going to the vote again just increase their power?

How many EU mandated second elections do the opposition win? Norbert Hofer won in Austria despite massive vote fraud and he still did not gain power!! It's rigged cazzo

Shock horror Italy has strong antimajoritarian institutional devices. If you think about it really hard, you can figure out why that is.
It will increase support for harder fringe parties at the street level most likely - think Casapound etc

Poor performance, lad, what a sorry sight

Lega rising in the polls, now clear second and getting closer to M5S, while M5S is down more than 3 points from the elections. Berlusconi’s Party reduced to almost half of the election share. Not clear if there’s M5S-to-Lega transfer, but it’s a “gateway drug” hypothesis to test.

Crisis spilling over to the streets. There’s no way this isn’t going to end up in disaster.
