Checked, and I agree with you in theory, but the main thing that getting banned from forums (which were pretty much all run by leftists) in my earlier internet years give me a huge aversion to echo chambers. "Our home" cannot fall prey to the same degeneracy leftists commit.

Fair enough, but imageboards are like prospecting for gold in a river with a sieve. You have to sift through a lot of mud for the nuggets. If you've got a lot of nuggets, you have a good board. However, we can't get the level of organization you're looking for without efficient, top down moderation devoted to our goals, so a lot of nuggets get washed away.
