Look, I'm not here to throw the shit at you you're used to. I get it. I used to be really big into TRS, and I still listen to the show sometimes. I'm not gonna tell you everyone's a jew, for all I know the guys at TRS think they're doing the right thing. I'm going to tell you why they're not the people who are going to make much change in the end.
A youtuber named the distributist detailed a very good concept called "the larping spectrum." on one end of the spectrum, you have people who use a goofy character and it's obvious they're using a goofy character as a joke to make a point. People like this LARPer because he is clearly a normal person LARPing as a joke. The example given is a guy dressing in a goofy outfit with the self-awareness that he looks goofy. On the opposite end of the spectrum you have people who take what they are doing very seriously, it is a passion for them. People like this LARPer because even though they might not feel his same passion, they can see that it is a genuine passion that guides them, and they can respect that. In the middling regions of the spectrum you have the shitty larper. The kind that is appropriating an identity because he isn't normal, and he lacks passion. This is merely entertainment. Many examples of this exist, furries, kekistan fags, and, yes, unfortunately, TRS. I listened to them for 2 years and ultimately I reached the conclusion that they do not fall into either end of this "LARP spectrum", but the middle. I tuned in every week hoping to hear the things that I know need to happen were happening (building communities, doing actual activism and not racial greivance marches riddled with feds), watching everyone around them fizzle out or move onto other things.

It's gotten to the point where they are the revolutionary vanguard now, and that's really sad, because they have this mantle out of pure coincidence, and they have decided to not professionalize in the least. And ultimately the problem lies with this:
They are racist libertarians, adopting the identity of national socialists to find a sense of belonging. I get why, I did the bit myself for a little while. But none of the death panel are national socialists, so why take the crippling PR that comes with the natsoc identity without adopting the philosophical framework, moral imperatives, or self-discipline it demands? Ultimately, normies know they aren't 100% serious about what they're doing, they're not normal either, and it turns them off, which is unfortunate, seeing as TRS has decided to be the normie outreach and not the revolutionary vanguard. This isn't a dig at people at the local groups, I've been to events and lots of good people are in there; not national socialists, but honest regular people, and I think these people could be put to much better use if they were following someone else.
No, this isn't saying to be cantwell or nehlen, and no, this isn't about optics, at least not mainly.
The death knell for me was the other night on the heelturn stream. They went on to drink and talk about a movie with these guys, who then ambushed them with a debate from a literal fucking nobody, some 56% commie from twitter who they bantered with occasionally. This guy was a retard, and that hubris guy made it apparent in only a few minutes afterwards by debating him with his own language.
What did mike and sven do, given that they were clearly too inebriated for this encounter? They decided to keep getting shitfaced, screaming like morons for four hours, in sven's basement at 4 am when sven's family is likely upstairs trying to sleep.
How do you think that's going to work for your stated purpose of "normie outreach"? Any journo with a blue checkmark of david can clip that, and you're suddenly untouchable now, because you chose to make yourself look like a drunkard live on the internet over a literal fucking nobody. They could have asked the heelturn guys to stop the hangout and start the stream over, bantzed the guy for 5 minutes and called it, or just fucking left outright since it was a dick move by the hosts, and they would have looked fine. But instead they made complete asses out of themselves.
How do they think this impacts the people in their regional groups?
Their role models are irresponsible, and lack the self-discipline to really be an effective leader. They're racist radio shock jocks, and that's all good and well, but those kinds of people are not good leaders of revolutionary movements, and yes, if you're a racial nationalist or a national socialist, that's what this is.
And that's ultimately what's going to happen. They are inadvertently cutting off the supply line of new recruits with this kind of unprofessional behavior, with their half-in half-out flirting with national socialism, taking the worst PR elements without any of the philosophical drive of it, with their increasing ghettoization. Hubris offered mike and sven advice, basically the advice I'm giving, and sven decided to cut him off, scream (literally) about how HIS podcast is doing better than HUBRIS' podcast, and that was the end of discussion.
That was the final straw, I think. I had some hope these guys would straighten up and fly right, but that makes it concrete what their future holds. Ghettoization and cultivating loyal paypigs because they got doxxed and have no jobs in their future now.
Why are you all here? Because Sven decided to shut down the 504um due to it being buggy, not having a new one ready to go in advance, and taking weeks to get it up because he's not offloaded that task onto a disciplined follower with the skills to do so. Moreover, he's told you to get off discord, he's making the forum invite and vetted only, and given mike's refusal to get back on twitter, they're effectively saying get off twitter, too. I don't think they're doing this on purpose, I think this is a bumbling misstep because it's just not safe to be a revolutionary vanguard. These guys are doxxed and out there, they can't afford to lose their financial lifeline, so now intentionally or not, they've built this community of theirs and they aren't using the quality people that exist in it to build a hierachy, to build a vehicle for revolution; they're building a dedicated, ghettoized fanbase that zog will leave alone in peace so they can at least get regular checks for the paywall. I personally don't think it's intentional, I think it's because they lack the discipline and ideological background to be fully dedicated to national socialism, but they think oven jokes are funny!!!
So here's what I recommend for you, if you're still a TRSodomite like I was. You don't have to stop hanging with your pool party, but get them into another group. If there's people of quality, get them into a natsoc group or an identitarian group (which lots of people here on 8pol will be mad about, and yeah IE aren't natsoc but at least they're very serious about what is essentially white racial activism), and for the less-quality people, I will remind you of what William Luther Pierce said of church of the creator and aryan nations:
Thank god for these groups, because they keep the freaks and losers away from our groups.
TRS' future is that of the loser-magnet to keep other more serious organizations free from their corruption.
