Realistically none of the above nor will that come to pass in the way (((you))) describe. Overall, nature and life is far more resilient than sensational (((news))) articles would like to portray. However, not all elements of life are as resilient. Nor are the advancements and comforts we have created.
What will most likely come to pass is an economical or a structural (power perhaps) disaster large enough to reverse the essiantial life support structures in place for the weak. Depending on race/culture/beliefs this will be more detrimental for some than others.
The softest of all groups that have lost, or never really had, any necessary skills or understanding of survival will perish quickly. Some due to the opportunity of others, some by their own hand due to sheer discomfort alone. Afterwards you really start to get in to the resiliency of groups. The groups that have had the most biological training in the harshest of conditions, the groups that built the best social systems on the past, etc. for their survival will have a better chance. The groups that predominantly lived in environments where everything was plentiful and evolved in more individualist societies will suffer.
Genetically and culturally speaking, those that are prone to more disease or risky behavior will no longer have the safeguards and expensive medical support systems to keep them alive past their weaknesses and mistakes. Also, those that forgot the true need for "evil xenophobic beliefs" will be left vulnerable due to misplaced trust.
