I miss the mods that would pin things for us. I miss there being less new posters on the board falling for random copypasta. Other than that, do I miss being banned for random reasons or no reason? No.
We do need mods, just not the ones we had before. Kampfy and the others were complete faggots that made a lot of terrible decisions.

The new mods are doing good; in the sense that they aren't actively trying to destroy the board which in itself is an incredible feat on any popular board. The new mods are like an immune system which will keep blatantly toxic microbes away, but still let in a communism general if it looks right to them. Codemonkey said he would take on some local mods in addition to the globals. Hopefully we get people who will pin important threads and actually promote Zig Forums rather than just not letting it get spammed to death. Kampfy has his problems, but he would have pinned a patrick little thread during last night's election. The current mods seem detached from the average Zig Forumsack.

Right now we are in a state of flux. Kampfy and his minions used some of the right methods for extremely wrong reasons, and eventually overstepped the bounds of those methods as well. However, in some ways it was a disservice. Anons became lazier and unable to fully filter, articulate arguments as strongly and without the constant stream of shills, kikes and subhuman spawn began turning on each other as well.
Even worse, Kampfy began using kike tricks against us. Punishment for calling out any evidence that Trump is, at least partially, in bed with the jews. Instilling a board wise fear of speaking about that, the same way (((they))) created a similar environment in regards to naming (((them))) or questioning the holocaust. That fact alone leaves me believing that we were subverted during that period, and forced to appear as LARPers within ourselves and to the outside.

I feel that there has been a huge loss in focus because threads discussing abstract ideas are now allowed, muddying the overall landscape of the board. Details are going to be lost/missed but the more important things are now allowed to be discussed more in-depth without somebody hurting imkikey's feewings or him inserting his OH SO FUNNY word filters.
I could go on, but as with a lot of anons right now, I just am not sure what I feel about this, yet.
