Brin would be the bastard name of Zazubrin…when someone is a bastard of nobility or gentry they take the name of their parent but it must be the shortened suffix…so Zazubrin becomes Brin, Rasputin becomes Putin…etc. It would be interesting to know the history of the Zazubrin family to understand the dynamics of who Brin is…

This is one of the most interesting aspect of the entire 'bolshevik' mindset and why I feel strongly about them while at the same time know that it all ends the same way for them.
