I still remember when they invaded Afghanistan and the general leading the mission said that they couldn't even find any al-qaeda terrorists (because they didn't actually exist) and all of those multi-level, fully stocked, evil villain cave complexes - like something Cobra Commander would live in - that CNN and Fox News kept harping about didn't exist either.

Also, they flew out the Taliban leaders and killed that ex-football player in a friendly fire fuck-up and then covered it up. Poor guy really got jewed by the Pentagon.

Publicly they say we've lost the war, but privately whose to say they didn't get what they want? The mass chaos of overthrown states was exactly what the (((neocons))) wanted. They also got the refugee hordes to invade Europe and other places. They also have a massive trained and blooded cadre of Islamists waiting it out in the Hindu Kush and other areas like Libya. The losing Syrian front isn't the only front for globalist backed jihadi mudshits. They are still flooded with weapons and experienced personnel.

Only reason they push the "we lost" rhetoric is two-fold: (1) as a demoralization effort to rub it in the face of nationalist cuckservative types who make up the bulk of the military, and (2) to cover up the fact that at a strategic policy level they got exactly what they wanted but wouldn't be able to publicly brag about it.

Harper was PM for nine years, and he should have passed the baton to Peter MacKay or Jason Kenney or preferaably, Mad Max Bernier. The (((media))) didn't help, but really, Harper was past his sell by date.

From what I was told by a decent Afghani man, the US and Britain were basically sending the various Taliban-esque groups to eachother, paying them off to leave. I interpret it as it being something of a proxy war between the two.

Mckay will always be remembered for his relationship with Belinda Stronach. Youre right Harper was never really charismatic but he was running against guys like Paul Martin and Stephan Dion so it wasnt much of a contest.
