well i know alittle about law. basically immunity only applies to things youre being charged for. which is why any crimes you commit after the immunity dont count.

there was a famous murder case in the 90s or early 2000s where police granted immunity for a guys testimony that was close to the victim. after being granted immunity to tell his story, he basically tells how HE killed the guy. they couldnt charge him with murder. now if he never admitted to it and his testimony was over, he could have still been charged, since the immunity was just for what he said during the testimony.
i also want to point out that if he did take the opportunity to admit to everything to save his own ass, it would not protect anyone else involved and would give police/fbi probable cause and all that good stuff because the information was not obtained "illegally"
