Ehh, he looks meek and ashamed in that interview though, which is pretty out of character for him. I think something else was up with that story. I recall reading some short magazine interview with his mother (who outlived him) way back in 2005/2006 shortly after he died. Truth is, he simply didn't attain a high-enough status to be involved in such things, even if he wanted to. Hunter needed to be compromised on some level because he was a loose cannon. His investigations into HA really spooked the spook community.
