Christopher Cantwell was facing 60 years for pepperspraying Communists at last summer's Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA. He won't face any more charges or jailtime and took a misdemeanor as a plea deal. Has to leave VA and be banned for 5 years from the State. Prettygud.jpeg. Once he gets his shit back together, he'll be back to making more shows.
Had to take a deal based on watching all the other people from that rally get jail time.

A lot of the other guys had tougher cases than he did. They were on camera hitting a guy on the ground iirc, which is a hard case to beat when the entire city is against you. Cantwell had pepper spray, a lot harder for them to get a conviction.
