There's definitely a den of pedos within Disney and I think the reason they were so quick to sever ties with James Gunn was to satiate people and keep them from digging into the people higher up. An interesting note, James Gunn is friends with a director named Victor Salva. In the mid 90s Salva did a movie for Disney named Powder, and I remember when that movie came out there was a huge controversy. Salva had raped a kid on the set of his first movie and video taped it. Disney said they had only learned about his conviction once filming had already started, but I find that hard to believe.
