I'm genuinely curious, from what I understand, there were some people who claimed that the cost saved would save more over the long run in terms of saving on pharmaceuticals and cutting off the insurance middleman so people directly pay towards the healthcare providers. And that would seem like a good fix in the current state of healthcare.
I understand that the medical field is expensive because it is completely controlled artifically by (((them))), but how would we address directly to this fact? And the fact that doctors are generally overpaid for what they do, where doctors from lower tier schools are paid the same as doctors from top tier medical schools?
This doesn't seem like a simple problem, but a problem with multiple aspects that need to be solved in order to lower the medical care cost in general.

I can't imagine where the United States could find the money to pay for universal Medicare. It's a real mystery.
The government should just put affordable price controls on all medical services and drugs. It should also be forbidden for doctors and hospitals to charge you for something that you did not explicitly consent to. They should also streamline our education and medical system. There is no logical reason why it needs to take 20 years of school to train a general practitioner or a dentist or any other entry level doctor. Doctors are like IT guys for the human body. It's not that hard to be a doctor and it's not that hard to be an IT guy.

We don't have a free market in medical services and drugs. Neither do we have free markets in banking, real estate, labor, etc. Very few markets in the US are free. In order to fix these rigged markets you need to rig them in the opposite direction (at least as a short-term solution). After that you can implement a long-term solution and move towards legitimately free markets.
