In the clearest videos, when the shooting started, there were three helicopters in the sky behind Mandalay Bay and the Delano. Could be normal so I don't know. There are tourist helicopter rides available but it seems weird that they would have 3 in the air in fairly close proximity.

The attackers were ex Saudi special forces under the instructional of alwaleed bin talal, who created the shooting to divert the attention of the police as well as force (at that time prince, now king) Mohammad bin salman to have to evacuate his suite in the 4 seasons so they could assassinate him. Most of the shots fired on the concert came from agents on the ground who were imbedded in the crowd as security officers (pic related). Paddock was a CIA arms dealer who was framed for the shooting but was dead before it began. This timeline explains why most of the time during the event there was no one actively firing from the hotel room, and why the weapon used (beltfed automatic machine gun of some type) was never found in the hotel room. This is why there was the constantly changing story regarding the janitor, he came up, saw several of the actual shooters and was fired at but got away and if he'd actually been willing to talk and had said that he saw several Saudis it would have blown the whole thing open.

Somehow this was discovered a few hours before it occurred and Eric Prince's guys were able to get on site and warn the prince and get him to the tropicana before the attack began. The video of the VIP being escorted through the tropicana lobby with the escort flagging all the customers was blackwater dressed as cops so as not to create undo suspicion.
