I don't think it was this video (I watch a few) but the argument that the smart meters were causing a chemical reaction within the materials (clay tiles oxidizing and releasing iron oxides [i think, it's been a while] was just interesting. You could always use your own gas, though you'd need a big enough property and uncucked zoning laws to keep an above-ground tank. You could, however, build an RF shield between your house and the meter, to deflect the RF away from your house, though it will only be marginally successful, and the RF isn't really harmful.
