The most important thing to realize about the whole Social Justice movement is that the number of "true believers" is actually really, REALLY small. Most human beings have more common sense than to actually believe in the cult's values. The true danger lies in the perception - which the media has played a large part in creating - that these are SOCIETY's values and that most people hold them.

Normal, otherwise sensible people will therefore cringe when they hear something "racist" or "problematic" - they may even be quick to point it out and complain about it, not because they themselves are offended, but because they fear being singled out by the mob if they don't.

Recently, I was looking after a young female relative who has clearly received a great deal of indoctrination in school, and her behavior highlighted exactly how the "social justice" fad has propagated. She would frequently say things like "Christians going around and conquering everyone ruined the world!" or "things are bad now because we have a conservative government!" or even "human beings are the worst! All they do is pollute and destroy the environment!"

Aside from the interesting implication that she doesn't consider herself to be human - and no, she's not jewish - the most interesting part of her behavior was what happened after she would say one of these things. Any time she injected a social justice talking point she would pause afterwards, without fail. The thought occurred that it was exactly like a trained animal - she was expecting positive affirmation because she said the "right thing". I have performed a trick, do I get a bone or a head pat now?

Needless to say, I didn't reward this behavior - and she reacted in confusion, as surely saying something anti-Christian should always be praised by everyone around her.
