Hidden Network

Apparently this has been progressing unnoticed for some time.
some high IQ user pls explain what this shit is….i feel like some " identifiable group" could be behind this….
is this happening in europe or south america….canada, australia, asia…..russia too????
report in anything you know, ask any questions you have

This is the second fearmongering post this hour. I guess this may work on the weaker-minded or those without technical clue, but not on most. Nice try, Chiam.

i'm just asking what going on user…
why does that bother you?

and the 10th one this week

Ask them to pay you for the power that network is stealing!

Perhaps because it belongs in Zig Forums unless you actually have some fucking evidence of government wrongdoing to present.

^This. take it to >>>Zig Forums and don't post about it here until you have evidence of (((NGO))) or (((State))) being behind this piece of technical news.

Huh. Fancy that.

The network is a public-like wireless broadcast so their customers can use their service away from home or office. You sign in with account email and passphrase. It is the best way to use the internet, when you are using other people's.

Two potentials immediately come into my conspiratorial mind.

First is that they are setting up a mesh network for the purpose of The Internet Of Things so all your smart devices can collect and send logs about you unhindered.

Second and the less likely of the two relates to the recent leaked gov document regarding RF mind control, they're not satisfied with just 5g getting you in public spaces and want to have greater influence over you within your homes. Whilst farfetched it wouldn't surprise me that these scheming kikes are attempting yet another vector of attack against humanity.

My ISP started the same thing. Basically they want to use every Modem/WifiRouter as an access point for their entire customer base. It was simple enough to opt out of it in my case. Also don't use the modem as an access point if you can help it. I prefer to keep the ISP hardware on the outside of my internal network.

Anons should really have their own modem/router, I do not know why anybody would pay to rent some shit they don't control.

Possible, but why is it "Hidden Network" and not "ISP123 Public Access", unless its still in rollout phase and yet to be activated with a subsequent firmware to which it will be renamed and accessible by said customers.

Telstra in Aus have what is known as "Telstra Air" which is enabled by default on customers wifi modems that allows any Telstra internet / mobile customer to use peoples connections like how you've described.

Idk. It might be poor project management, since almost every manager is a dumb nigger. May be a service not yet offered. I would contact the ownerd of the device and ask them. Be sure to share back here.

Why would a super sekret network no one is supposed to know about named hidden network and not just some mundane id or not broadcast at all?

I found this in Canadian routers about 2 years ago. In many models I was able to turn off the hidden nameless network by disabling WPS by RFID. I was initially troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues; it was broadcasting strongly on the same channels as the non-hidden networks and interfering with connections.

same problem i'm having but its broadcasting from a modem outside my house in a double locked, tagged and dated box.

RFID (NFC)

To be honest do you think flouride zombies aka normies even give pause to think about anything like this, their implicit trust in technology is whats gotten companies like faceberg and google to the point they are at today with no sign of slowing down.

Just spitballing here because I have not found any cases of this happening in Canada. Could it be a network for remote maintenance of the equipment? It sounds like something incompetents might do. Of course, any network like this is a potential attack vector. Keep in mind also that wifi can be used to map areas three dimensionally.

It could also potentially be used to track someone. If you know the MAC address of a person's cellphone, you can track them as they move around well populated areas, by checking WAP logs to see if a device with the same MAC tried to connect to any number of devices.

in my experience its only detectable with a windows PC….android nor apple products pick it up

Zig Forumsanon here. Recently had to have the cable company out to my property because lighting struck and fried two of my routers plus the modem. I run a network over my entire farm from one modem which includes multiple houses and barns. Basically, I have an entire family hooked up which is against the TOS. As such I'm really careful about the cable jockeys seeing my entire set-up unless I've built a good relationship with them and I always tip them well so they'll keep their mouth shut.

Anyway, I made sure they sent my guy out to put in a new modem for me. While he was setting it up I noticed they include a router along with the modem now. I inquired about it and was told it was needed for their "roaming" services but it's also going to be used so they can work on things remotely where needed. So basically this thing comes with a command and control/botnet service built in. When he set it up he'd forgot to do something and rebooted my modem from a mile down the street over their internal network and came back to verify it was okay. Then he rebooted it from the truck via WiFi just to so me how this new CoC network works.

There is a big roll out going on right now where they're offering free TV service to get to all the old modems. The old modems were compromised too of course but these new ones are even worse. I don't trust any traffic going over my cable modem/router and you shouldn't either. You should be putting a firewall between your stuff and the modem whenever possible but even then you shouldn't be doing anything illegal like operating a darknet business over them. If you check with your ISP right now I'll bet you anything they're offering a deal to swap out your old modem. For us they were willing to give us free TV and knock $50 off my bill just to get it into my house. They no longer allow me to supply my own either.

Download wifi-analyzer for Android. you can get it from google play or f-droid and it can detect hidden networks of all kinds.

“Hidden Network” only shows up when the SSID broadcast is disabled. Which means the WiFi name isn’t explicitly being advertised but still exists. If it showed up suddenly then I suppose there’s some cause for alarm. But if it’s always been there then it’s unlikely to be anything dangerous.

Attached: 215EE01E-D4E2-426D-B572-B8D258A21002.png (567x424, 11.59K)

I forgot to mention that despite being able to configure this new router they've given me I am unable to disable the CoC functions they use to reboot it over WiFi now will my routers function correctly if I plus them directly into the modem. If it doesn't see the company router it just refuses to connect to anything.

I personally dummy all ISP supplied modems into bridges because they are all universally garbage.

Attached: fyevathe.PNG (1191x129 14.14 KB, 12.49K)

I do this as well. I have 8 routers running in bridge mode behind the cable modem/router and they're all configured on their own subnets. My home network is way different from the norm considering I have 4 houses and multiple outbuilding running on it. I've run CAT5 and CAT6 cable all over the farm to hook up the various buildings and have all of them configured as the same wifi network so you can roam without constantly switching between networks. Cable company hasn't said anything yet but I'm on business class service so I don't think they care as long as I keep giving them money.

See my post above. In the case of Canadian supplied dual-band routers, there are 5 networks being broadcasted: the four you would expect on the various frequencies all named the same, and a fifth hidden one that broadcasts very strongly but is somehow linked to WPS-NFC. I am unsure as to why NFC would require a dummy network to do the hand-off where you can tap your phone to the router to connect.

Having alternatively accredited P.H.D's in EE, neurology and psychology I can certify you as a loony.

Alright well I haven't used it since Android 8.0. Google is definitely kiked.

It's a soft science so nice waste of money. I don't subscribe to the 5g mind control theory but it's still bad. The goal is to get listening devices into every public and private space. They want a bug in every room and they want you to pay for it.

yea i'm with you on this, just wanted to see what other anons though, or if others had this/noticed this happening

got links to the docs?

my dad called them and first they claimed they couldnt see it/its on our end
then when he told them he unplugged everything and took all cell batteries out it was still showing up they said it was because he "somehow had 2 IP's by mistake" which they said they fixed…..it didnt change Hidden Network at all……then the guy said it was some new windows 10 feature my dads pc was doing but he didn't know the name, but it was definately that. my dad told him he took a bug scanner (he bought one whilst traveling abroad) to their locked up modem and it was going off like crazy, the guy said he would find out what was going on and get back to us…..

tech guy on phone also claimed our entire subnet had been hacked recently and that they were working out the kinks (what a joke) and this is why our service had been off for 24 hours….also he reset their modem remotely from his desk or car and it went away temporarily……
there's more to this i'm sure of it

It was floating around 8pol for a while a few months back but I didn't grab it unfortunately sorry.

Nerd here. If these networks your noticing ate on Verizon or Comcast what you may be seeing is the WiFi network both companies are teeming up to offer unlimited wifi for like 35 usd or something. I don't have much info other then this move is looked as a cheaper alternative to 5g

I know that unitymedia a german Internet and cellphone Provider got into heat when people found out that the Company was using their Router to create a second channel as a Hotspot. This move was Made to create a WiFi mesh for their cellphone devision

This is already comon and accepted from comcast and along the lines of what I'm referring to.

One local provider is doing a similar thing, it has "free" wifi hotspots for their phone clients, I know of some cheap fuck that only has a prepaid sim card with no data, and he's constantly searching for a better signal of the hotspot to be able to use whatsapp and the rest of the botnet.
It reminds me using a cell phone in their early times.

how conveinient

hi Jew.
So this is a kike thing, then.
Having another network running, even if it is unused, degrades your overall network performance. Its a dumb and shit thing to do with no reason.
What is it for? some kind of mesh? to allow people to use your wireless as and wen they need it?
it is shady as fuck.

They're turning all cable company provided routers into wifi hotspots so they can sell universal wifi as a service via your internet connection.

This is a big thing, but I never thought about it until your post.

Say you want to gain access to someone's wireless network.
The way to do it without notice is to capture a ton of their traffic, then analyze it after the fact.
This can be done 100% passively.
You can also tie hardware addresses to locations through this passive listening.

If you already know someone's hardware addresses, which google does whenever you register something on their phones, you can use this to track someone in near real time without the use of GPS to

What if some nigger downloads CP through your network?

Lol just do a pixie dust attack on the sucker that has WPS enabled, you're in, in like 10 minutes

It is obviously a backdoor, likely ordered by NSA to piggyback and covertly intercept all your incoming and outgoing data

The type of attack is irrelevant.
A wireless ISP device within range of your wireless network is a credible threat.
For instance, they could be reconfigured at the whim of whoever to act as a pineapple.

You would be surprised how many I have opened with 12345670

Laws where i live force the ISP's to randomize both passwords and WPS pins. I like being lazy but it currently isn't possible.

I hope no one is actually connected to the ISP's router, that would be insanity when you consider their slimy practices and negligence.

Old oldfag spammer here
use fucking mobile subnets you niggers
Get a fucking blackberry, disable GPS shit, and change your SIM every few weeks

You will get lost in the sheer amount of traffic major networks get, add a VPN for more security.
Route TOR under your VPN for even more

Your internet will be slow as fuck but do you really need juden Peterson videos and HD pornography anyway?

This only works if you tether btw, there are ways to run apk files off bbos10 and apk files that let you tether without paying kikey networks fees.

Also don’t be a retard, all darknet shit is dead. If you’re a degenerate just score dope from that kid that keeps skating in the parking lot by your house. Internet should be for dissemination of information exclusively.

On my wireless. They aint even hiding anymore.

cia backdoors boi

PROTIP: Get your own router, have ISP provide wired connection only. You can even install open source firmware on router.

Would the 'Hidden Network' be there to accommodate a decision pro or con on net neutrality? Hypothetically, a network configured directly into each proprietary router/cable modem is there to allow proprietary communication and/or communication with the ISP. While communication to/from the manufacturer of the router/modem can be used to monitor health or specific variables (heat being generated, less expensive semiconductors performing/not-performing, bandwidth usage/non-usage, usage up time/down time. usage hours, etc…), the ISP can use broadcast communication with all of its routers to tweak bandwidth at specific times; thus, it wouldn't matter whether net neutrality was or was not in-place.
- oil companies and energy producers tweak supply all of the time as a means of manipulating stock values; thus, increasing profits
- an ISP that guarantees up time and bandwidth levels to the corporate world, can ensure its guarantees are met by taking from Joe & Jane Goyim and Joe & Jane Goyim are none the wiser
- next, is the business ploy to get Joe & Jane Goyim to pay more to lesson the denial of bandwidth for which they already pay

This is my curiosity. Why not just set it to not broadcast the SSID? It's weird for sure, but why be so blatant about it?
Funny thing is I noticed this same named network the other day while setting up my phone for my house wifi. Was a passing curiosity, thought it was just someone being funny.
Idk if it's my neighbor or my own modem though because I bought my own years ago to save on rental fees, so idk if they can infest privately owned devices or if it's just their own they do this with.

This is someone trying to implement the moves I was talking about on here months ago.

Using distributed packeting you could effectively mask your true location to avoid the goons and NSA silliness. Indirectly, if you set it up properly you can cascade all data uniformly and actually have complete control over a network with the target being unaware.

Whomever is doing this is apparently a moron and doesn’t know how to hide their presence.

No, I passed that up.

It's called The Hive

Lol
I named my network NSA GOV - Intel
just to fuck with my drug addict neighbor

These faggots probably have the shit hidden in their small print along with their right to broadcast their own provider wifi access as well. Shady fucks.

Holyshit, I've been leeching off my neighbors wifi with that exact name

Just replace www with kosher or 666 at the 13th minute of any hour to see it.

Brain activity is waves and electrical signals plus magnetic fields… so yeah it’s possible to input either suggestive thought or signals from remote

if you have a spare Wi-Fi router, set it up to mimic a public Wi-Fi hotspot, but don't hook it to the internet

wireshark crash course please.
how can I check if I have this infection?

checked
im not too eager to dig through this and find the right book for you so here you go mega.nz/#F!RaxnXbTA!pdxvZgtgmYaeD5Pn-zRj2w
You can download a wireshark user manual online FYI

No it's not dipshit

fake the signal strength to max

Wow, Moishe, that's a compelling argument.

Attached: 1493198091770.png (669x514, 24.62K)

to add to that, I walked into lowes today to buy a water filter for my fridge. Entering the area with all the smart samsung appliances my cell phone pinged me that I connected to multiple
samsung devices. Makes you think that the tracking opportunity is already there. Makes me think how they finally connected the dots to the beener that killed Mollie. I bet the pig farm that they scanned every phone that pinged off the cell towers and narrowed it down gradually.

There is a Hidden Network being picked up by my Wifi now. What do i do?

Attached: ClipboardImage.png (457x91, 6.92K)

torrent a new router

Am using a dual router setup with one of them the isp and the other mine flashed with dd-wrt and vpn hardcoded into it. I also use vpn off computer if i ever connect to the isp router (the only reason i use it is for speed purposes, suddenlink dicksuckers only let you get the speeds you pay for off of the router they provide)

what if some cianigger uploads cp to your hard drive then tips off the local PD?

sounds like you can disable wifi on isp router without any other problems?

inb4 "Hidden Network" is marketing speak for NAT.

get cheap laptop
install gentoo
install aircrack-ng
spam it with de-auth packets 24/7

why not stick the whole fucking thing in a faraday bag

if you have dd-wrt installed the modem/router they provide has no idea if it's a router connected to it or just another computer. it's far more likely that the second router you have is shit and/or the dd-wrt version you have is shit and it's unable to cope with the speed

if it's a "Hidden Network" why are they broadcasting the SSID in the first place? you don't need the SSID to connect to a router, only the mac address

Are you guys tripping about ISP routers with built in hotspots?
Because that shit is the norm in Europe for like… I'm gonna go with 10 but it might be 15 years?

But then most ISPs don't bill volume just access and you can turn it off.

no, even when i connect my computer directly to the isp router it doesnt get the right speeds. i only get max speeds when i connect to isp router wifi.

call the cable company and make them replace it and measure line speeds coming out of the lan ports, that's bullshit.

also in the end the ISP is still ran by a bunch of jews. money will fix the problem. buy a business line. not supporting the ISP's kikery but it's a solution.

Yea, i've been fighting with them for half a year now.

You sure showed him.

Remember "The Dark Knight" seeing everything like a bat would with sonar, only with Wifi?

Been thinking about it for a while, having a network of where every person is, at all times. With phone, without phone. Nowhere to hide ever. They can track you if their algorithm determines you are a possible threat one day. If you decide to ghost out, leave everything but cash at home and take an old car with no electronics to go do something treasonous, or go "inawoods" it wouldn't matter. They would already have a network tracking you from point A to point B without you having your cell phone on you. Would just have to have a number assigned to you and they follow that number.

youtube.com/watch?v=YJjQFknMuyE

yup
straight from wikileaks

Attached: hive-Operating_Environment.pdf (hive-UsersGuide.pdf)

I would actually like that. Just off the top of my head there are six things you can do to counter it when you want to 'ghost' it. And thats before you go into happening levels of counter attack.

Gives them an false sense of security over the peons up until its go time, and like always their tech is already open and available for us to use against them in turn since they don't know how to counter their own shit. And this level of info on an approaching swat/exfil unit is solid gold. Hell, spoofing the info back to your enemy while watching his ever move would be an generals wet dream.

Maybe most of Project Bluebeam will need to be delivered via management engines and backdoored baseband and so on, and only a select few locations will receive holographic, smoke, mirror, and disco ball effects live, and the rest of us (at least with devices with backdoors) will have to watch it on the screens we now carry everywhere?

Means a NSA/ISPnigger has created an immune attack/view cell in your network. Good thread.
