Is there proof that Google News is tweaked for bias, or is this entirely intuition, after the reporting that FB tweaked their news algorithms to downrank right-wing thought?
I'm asking, because this looks like a fake website. Look how redundant everything is. It's literally one story in several places.
I think I have seen little so surreal. Now, perhaps I'm just old enough to remember what newspapers are supposed to look like. When WW II broke out (obviously I don't remember first hand, but I know how to read old newspapers), I think the papers were about like that, but it was genuinely exceptional, and there were many aspects to launching an actual fucking war. But this matter is little and less and speculation, and definitely not news. In fact, Trump has nothing to do with the news, so far as I can tell, except that a literal criminal and a literal stripper have accused a man of honor.

For the mods: This is a meta discussion regarding the legitimacy of news, and isn't part of the discussion of the various completely flogged to death boring "collusion" and mueller investigation topics, which are just so incredibly less and less than they were made out to be in the beginning, to the extent where they seem even mundane.
So this is rather about what exactly is happening in the news. Google News is but one example. Google claims they have algorithms, designed to ferret out the best news items. But you can plainly see these are most certainly not the best in analysis, and, additionally, there is too much in the way of an American-centered-ness.
For example, did you know that the Polynesians (this is my suspicion - the news accounts are scant of detail) attacked Australian vacationers (again my suspicion, detail scant), and they were rescued by the Australian navy, by helicopter.
In other words, things are going to hell in a handbasket in the Solomon Islands. And god knows what else in the world is going crazy.

I was fucking around on a friend's PS4 the other day, and saw it had a youtube app. On it there's are recommended channels. Some have to do with your search history, but some don't, like the "Current News" one. I scrolled through the videos in news, and they were all "Cohen, Cohen, Cohen, Cohen, Manafort, Cohen". Google, youtube, and other similar websites are just PA systems for the establishment.
