The Eye of the Sahara (Richat Structure) recently is rumored to be the location, but in the end i dont really know. In general I think its a symbol for the sun and thus God. One interesting concept on Chakra I saw is that the chakrapoints are the points where the different strings of nerves connect to the spine.
