Cult is a weaponized term used against any organization or group outside of mainstream society. Group unity in face of an enemy such as the US government is necessary, in fact critical. If you’re running a non-LARP communist group and not engaging in intense self-crit sessions, you are not building a revolutionary consciousness

This is the mindset of someone who can't imagine not being in a cult. Most people are open to ideas if you talk to them respectfully, and it's in everyone's interest to listen to and accept communist ideas. In my experience people are pretty open to the ideas if you treat them with the respect they are due as people instead of trying to indoctrinate them like some christfag would do.
