They promote race mixing because it reduces the white population. We can promote race mixing because it reduces the black population. While this is logically unsound, this could redefine race mixing as racist against blacks. Then whenever race mixing is mentioned people will associate it with racism against blacks.
I have heard that many years ago there were so few blacks in the US that the white population could have absorbed them completely, leaving hardly a trace.
