Fired from a good job a few months ago and have been collecting employment insurance. Slowly building up some cryptocurrency and trying to keep up with self-improvement but I've gotten into a rut.
I apply to a bunch of random stuff and was accepted for a 6 month mission in Africa to teach about computers.
It's run by the Canadian government and (((NGOs))). I understand that it's total bullshit.
That said the stipend is about the same as what I get on employment insurance. Travel is all paid for and it does appeal to my sense of adventure. Also the city has a beach.
Would this be helpful on my resume or useful for a red pilled guy who lives in Canada? I wouldn't mind getting into an NGO or government if I don't have to work hard.
They also keep pushing vaccines. I'm considering only getting the Yellow Fever vaccine since it seems crossing borders without it can sometimes cause problems.
Is this a paid trip without having to work hard paid by the government? Or the worst mistake of my life? Thoughts?
They pay the first 3 months of the stipend up front. I've also considered going for a bit and pretending to be sick to bail out.
They say we'll have to pay back the government but I already owe the government for student loans I haven't paid back and keep all my wealth in crypto.

Dude, it's Africa. You'll definitely have an adventure. Just keep in mind how stupid the average black in North America tends to be. Then consider that they're asking you to teach computer use to pure-bred African blacks, who are even stupider than North American blacks. Working in a foreign country looks great on a resume. I wouldn't get my hopes up on actually teaching much to these people, though. Just refrain from screwing any of the local women and don't drink the tap water, six months from now you'll have some great stories and life experiences most others don't.

Depends where in Africa they want you to go. If its Somewhere like Kenya or Ethiopia that could actually be pretty cool and a good experience. That being said if its a complete shithole like equatorial Guinea or the Congo I would stay home
