Yeah it's considered a 'ruin' but it's actually in decent shape. Some of my family still lives in the old country but the ones that stayed don't live in the castle. They live in housing on the property. Whats left is pretty much a giant estate with a river running through it, a bridge, and castle ruins with old farm equipment from the 1960s.

I've gone back several times but the more I see Glasgow and the rest of the UK… the more I feel that it's no longer a good place to live and potentially raise a family.

I feel the fate of the Scots is one of the sadder things.
