And the worst part:

Here lies the heart of German industrial power, the cauldron of
wars.This area should not only be stripped of all presently existing
industries but so weakened and controlled that it can not in the fore-
seeable future become an industrial area. The following steps will
accomplish this:
after the cessation of hostilities, all industrial plants and equipment
not destroyed by military action shall either be completely dismantled
and removed from the area or completely destroyed. All equipment shall
be removed from the mines and the mines shall be throughly wrecked
shal destroy all plants and equipment which cannot be removed.
In 1944, during the height of the Second World War, Roosevelt was given a memorandum by Henry (((Morgenthau))), the Secretary of the Treasury, stating Morgenthau’s proposal on how to treat the defeated Germany.
In order to remove what he saw as the "problem of Europe", he proposed Germany be completely stripped of any industrial output. Mines and factories were to be destroyed. People with technical knowledge would be "encouraged" to leave Germany. Basically, he wanted to revert Germany back into a medieval state.
Since Germany could not produce it's own food and would no longer have the means to buy it, people would starve. About 30 million Germans would be starved under this plan.
Morgenthau was the only Cabinet member invited to the Second Quebec Conference, where Churchill and Roosevelt decided the fate of Germany. Both Churchill and Roosevelt signed off on the plan, knowingly sending 30 million Germans to their deaths.
In an August 26, 1944 letter to Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands, Roosevelt wrote that "There are two schools of thought, those who would be altruistic in regard to the Germans, hoping by loving kindness to make them Christians again — and those who would adopt a much 'tougher' attitude. Most decidedly I belong to the latter school, for though I am not bloodthirsty, I want the Germans to know that this time at least they have definitely lost the war."
Luckily for Germany, this plan was bitterly opposed. The Secretary of War, Henry Stimson, bitterly opposed the plan. Roosevelt denied he intended to fully deindustrialize Germany, to which Stimson replied by reading aloud the text The Morgenthau Plan, with Roosevelt’s signature underneath, word by word, to Roosevelt’s face in front of dozens of people.Stimson would later go on to pardon numerous National Socialists during the Nuremberg Trials.
Roosevelt was forced to abandon the plan after it was leaked to the public, resulting in a massive public outcry. When Roosevelt died, Truman was forced to abandon it, though the plan did have a heavy influence in the occupation policies.
Just wanted to remind you all that the Jews nearly reduced Germany to a medieval state and planned to kill 30 million Germans after the war was over from starvation. Only public opposition prevented this from happening.
