Canada is such an embarrassing banana republic. Here in BC there are two industries: degree mills selling degrees to chinks that can't speak English, and building trades - building homes for chinks. But, now housing has pulled back because of money laundering crackdowns and interest rate hikes (thats the story people tell me).

Alberta has oil. Other than that the entire rest of the country has zero productivity.

Housing across the country is getting insane. People that own their own apartments are moving back home and renting their apartments to tenants.

How are things in the rest of the country? I haven't left BC in 5 years and am not really in the loop.

To break this down, here are the numbers:
1. Everyone above the green line is retired and consuming tax money as Canada's very generous welfare state benefits.

2. These people have investments for now, but by 2022, almost everyone above the orange line will be either retired or part-time, living on benefits.

3. Productive men. The top half of this group is now aggressively investing – much of it in either the absurd real estate bubble where they're competing with a billion chinamen, or in the United States, where they're financing the shale boom.

The bottom half of this group is made up of consumers. These men work and effectively give their paychecks to women to spend for them. Wages are at an all-time low in Canada, relative to the cost of living, so consumer markets will never lead growth in Canada again.

4. Male children. One-third of these are pajeets, niggers, and/or chinks. They're convinced Canada was discovered by Ching-Chong Columbus-chan, and founded by Jasbir Singh MacDonald. They're raising their children to fuck over the white race real hard for slavery. The last white Canadian in this age cohort will spend the time before his execution reading history books and discover that slavery wasn't a Canadian thing, and the Leafs have always been friends of the nigger. This will make no difference, because nobody will care by then.

5. Women. Never productive by a long shot. Every woman, in every developed country, is a net drain on resources. This is fine when they make babies, which is their job, but Canadian women mostly don't do that. Instead, they use tax money for abortions.

That may have been true 20 years ago but the reality on the ground is that major cities like Montreal are visibly more destitute than any white-majority area in any US city. The suburbs (the tenaments and row houses) of Montreal look like something out of 1960's New York, which is nice in that nearly everyone is white. However, seeing half the neighborhood still drying clothes using clotheslines or clothes racks on the sidewalk, half the small storefronts empty with "À Louer" signs that have been in the window so long that they are faded, and small parks that haven't seen a caretakers attention in years are all signs that things are nowhere near how they are presented to be to the outside world.

storage food is extremely important. its going to take time before you get your homestead up to speed to actually support a family on its own. youre going to need atleast months to prepare, and while preparing, its best to not have to worry about your next meal. going to much easier to open a can of beefaroni or eat a cold MRE.

True. You should always have food prepared, but although i see a lot of preppers mention canned food i rarely see them mention plans for after the canned food is out that's why i mentioned it. I would always at least add plant seeds and animal traps to that list. Maybe store a bunch of PVC pipes and those plastic sheets for a greenhouse too if you're in an area with very cold winters.

Anyways, best preperation is planting seeds right now on some empty land and let nature take its course, not just when SHTF.

I have lots and lots of ideas about getting free calories in my area, the best book on the subject I have so far is "all the rain promises and more" - a book about getting tons and tons of free mushrooms in the western US and Canada.

You can get free butcher cuttings from the safeway butcher and render them down into extremely-high calorie lard and tallow, with lots of free steak trimmings if you autisticically separate the meat before you render it.

Lots of people are living cheaply in sailboats, vans and in off-grid cabins on government forest land.

Learn preservation techniques like canning, dehydration and pickling to save bountiful harvests for lean times.

i think this is because most expect the "happening" to not last longer than a year. im sure their prepper shit would give them enough time to develop a homestead.
hunting is easily the best way to eat. farming is cool too as well as knowing how to forage local plants, but if i shoot a deer and salt/dry the meat… it's dinner for a month. and deer are fucking everywhere.

theres more to setting up a proper homestead. a deer will be rotting in a day unless its winter and the animal freezes. the storage food is helpful. its not absolutely necessary, but it gives you a huge advantage over someone who has to start hunting that night in order to feed themselves.

Not right now, but when the food goes out this will be one of the things many non-city people will do and a large amount of deer will be depleted rather quick and you'll lose precious ammo too. Also hunting does cost a lot of energy, it's no problem with a full belly but when food is scarce you should move as little as possible to preserve energy. Learn how to trap, especially smaller game.

True but it depends on how you hunt. Waiting to shoot stuff takes time and can be taxing especially in the cold. I love traps though, especially repeating traps because they don't trigger and catch multiple prey like the basket fish trap you posted. For example you can check out if there is an invasive animal species in your area that quickly multiplies and target them with a trap, you'll have plenty of prey and do nature a favor at the same time.

my favorite fish trap is the pool fish trap in the middle i posted. super easy to set up and maintain… and the fish will live and stay in there. its like having your own hatchery.

hunting a deer to eat that night because you dont have other food to eat that night is hard. having a quota to fill of 2 deer a month is super easy. i've got some more similar pictures. any requests? i dont want to post everything i have.. its too much.

I'm in a colder region so i like to avoid to step into water to set up a trap, i live near a lake it's more convenient for me to make a hole in the ice and put basket trap underwater and wait. As for deer, it's a lot of work to carry a massive animal through the woods then butcher it and dry it. With smaller game it's easy to carry and takes 2 minutes to degut and prepare, but that's just personal preference. The map is quite useful, do you have more info maps like that? Or can you tell me where to find maps like that?
