It was a weird occult show that went over everybody's heads, because almost everything (especially soap operas) at that time were equally as disturbing. I just recently watched the entire show for the first time and really enjoyed it. It's disturbing but not in a vulgar jewy way. It has a nice, warm, charming vibe despite the creepy story, which makes it an interesting mix. The newer season was pretty good as well. The imagery and creative visual display alone is fascinating. I would definitely recommend it.
