Scientists disagree widely on what kind of effect a "nuclear winter" would have, but it probably wouldn't be catastrophic. Nuclear bombs just aren't that powerful in the grand scheme of things (huge volcanoes or asteroids) and more importantly are designed to airburst and so won't kick up much dust anyway.

And EVEN IF it's somehow bad enough to kill all of humanity? So what. That's still not "destroying the world". Life, in some fashion, would continue unimpeded. Have you read any of the stuff in this thread? The Bible explicitly condemns the jews over and over again. Then you have the KJV and NIV types which say Judah too will fight at Jerusalem, though this is talking about God punishing those fighting there which implies God is smiting them. Some say 'even Judah is fighting at Jerusalem' which again seems to imply Judah is fighting against Jerusalem. The RSV, which had accuracy as its primary purpose states that Judah fights against Jerusalem. The MEV which is a recent update of the KJV says that "Even Judah will fight with Jerusalem". Seems to me that pretty much all of them are saying that Judah is fighting against Jerusalem, although the wording in some is a little bit unclear.
