Futurism was the key aesthetic to Italian Fascism often valuing attributes such as "speed, technology, youth, violence, and objects such as the car, airplane, and the industrial city."
Post your favorite Futurist art and literature centered around Fascism, and discuss how Futurism can be adapted to the 21st century "future" world.
Well that's a load of horseshit. What you might have said is art that is promoted as good or noteworthy has been utter shit since 1800. Art in and of itself only matters to the timeperiod in which it was created. Different types of art movements were primarily a reaction to the times. Making a fucking marble statue today isnt fucking art. At the time it was capturing the image of man in stone. Picture perfect renaissance paintings were quality for their time pre cameras. But each was still a selective visualization of a particular image in their time. Like all history, hindsight is 20/20, and there is plenty of shit art that artfags have chosen to neglect. Just like architecture, literature, furniture, fashion, etc. You highlight your ignorance with a blanket statement about what was or was not good wrt art by choosing to apply the label of good based on your acceptance of bullshit. t.artfag
I find the Ukiyo E of the Russo Japanese war visually captivating as well. Though not Futurist, it is proto-futurist in its martial aesthetic and feeling of movement. It was the last era of this marvelous art form.
This is the type of retardation this board has succumb to. Sad really. Its not just stupid, it's aggressively stupid. Like a nigger.

Agreed!

Definitely bros I find a lot of the Nork and Russian commie propaganda visually captivating even though the politics are diametrically opposed. But the martial aesthetic, the movement, the masculinity is there.

Shit this crazy Fascist revanchist mfr invaded another country as an art experiment. His name was Gabriele D'Annunzio and he was a bona fide Italian nobleman, war hero and bon vivant. This is a print of him dropping leaflets over Trieste the city my ancestors are from.
