They make 139.1 billion USD per year - for comparison, Poland makes 524 billion per year. Population of Hungary is just under 9 million.
They're also in the Visegrad/V4 group(led by Poland), which is an economic cooperation Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia, so they're getting help on two fronts.
Poland's GDP is 524 billion, like I said. Czech Republic is 215 billion. Slovakia is 95 billion, and Hungary is 139 billion like I said.
Added up, that's roughly 973 billion. Now, these countries obviously can't afford to throw money at each other for fun, but they help where they can. Hungary also maintains a very small military(36,000 active, 58,000 reserve). Personally, I think this is wise. Any serious invasion from a major power is going to wreck a small country like Hungary no matter how many troops they have. They're better off spending the money increasing their population.

Local Hungarian here. Going by the statistics released by the EU, Hungary accepts the least possible foreign citizens every year, only Slovaks, Lithuanians and Luxembourgers accept fewer. So good luck with getting accepted tbh. I'll list few things to consider, because I'd like to help a brother out.

Or 8 years of continuous residence, but wouldn't recommend this to anybody. 8 years is too fucking long to even consider.
