Attached is the six page overview of the "Green New Deal" released by Democratic Sen. Ed Markey of Massachusetts office today. He is apparently the senate partner of Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.
It looks like a mixed bag.
Sounds nice, but still a ways out from a industry/technology perspective. Power grids currently use a combination of energy sources since, for example, wind production peaks at dusk and dawn, while solar power peaks during the day; in contrast power usage peaks sharply in the evening when people get home from work. Energy-intensive industry tends to utilize energy at off-peak hours to balance out demand on the grid.
Currently, we're maybe 1 or 2 decades out from total clean energy. As soon as clean energy production becomes cheaper than conventional power-plants, production will rapidly shift. As soon as clean onsite energy production becomes cheaper than the cost of transporting energy from a powerplant to a house, power-plants and the power grid will essentially go obsolete, and usage will shift incredibly rapidly. There's not a lot of point in opening new energy production sites right now, as technology is changing so quickly. I suppose demand does increase technological advancement, but it still seems like a waste of money to push alternative energy sources, when the market is already headed that way on its own, and the technology can't be rushed.
I'm assuming they believe these jobs will be in construction and maintenance of new energy production and grid infrastructure. Possibly in high speed rail? These jobs are going to exist anyways as clean energy production becomes cheaper solely due to market demand.
Seems like a big PR win for dems if they do this. I'm not sure what type of industry they plan to replace this with.
Good. I'm not sure how they plan to do the healthy food thing. Hopefully it doesn't just mean more snap for nogs, but if it something like ending corn subsidies and changing it out for subsidies on small family farms, then good. Even if its just another soda tax I don't mind.
Oh, so they're repealing Obamacare then ;)
Jokes aside, this means taxing healthy people to pay for unhealthy people's shit genes and/or bad life choices.
Both natsoc and libertard fags can celebrate this. A kick in the balls to the jews and no monopolies = increased economic competition by more competitors, which is the basis of a free market economy
Nigs already getting nog gibs, so lol
literally like 1.5% of the federal budget
Cattle are a net carbon sink because of forage root storage. Methane is a stronger greenhouse gas effect, but its quickly leaves the atmosphere, and so the net result is more carbon storage over time. They did not do their homework on this one. Or its a ploy to push "stop eating meat".
Good, pro-labor policy. Too bad the US is only something % white now so we don't really benefit from it as much anymore, but its better than them going to a 0% white country.
How can they guarantee jobs? The purpose of a job is to perform value-producing labor, not to work for the sake of working. The national socialist view is that if there is work to be done and people to do it, money should not be an issue, as money is not wealth, but the value produced by the job getting done it real wealth; however, I have a feeling this is going to be a massive gibs for bullshit made-up busywork program.
Codespeak for hiring a white worker is now illegal
=In Summary==
I'm skeptical of package deals because its an opportunity to push through little laws they couldn't pass otherwise.
Accelerationism vs Defensive strategy: my general take is that any accelerationist action that hurts the Zionist Occupation Govt or decreases general contentment and complacency is a useful action, while any accelerationist action that reduces the white population or the environment is a unhelpful action to take. This is again a mixed bag in that regard. If it potentially strengthens the state of the US and puts more trust by people in the US govt, thats a bad thing.
Overall a lot of the items outlined seem redundant/ineffectual, misguided, or doubling down on current noggibs policies.
