People vote as a way to cope with the fact that there is no choice other than violence. They are scared of what they must do in order to right the wrongs of this world and instead decide to retreat into the infantile mental-cocoons of the (((two-party system))) believing that they can change the game's rules from inside it.
They are scared shitless of the idea they have no control over what happens unless they are willing to fight for it.
