That's a myth based on self-reporting. There are more people of Anglo descent than German descent, or at least the Anglo ancestral share is larger among the American population than German, but white Americans are just so cucked that they want to be anything. Heimbach aside, there are far more people with Anglo surnames than Irish or German in the US.
