Thanks. I considered the Macedonian-Bulgarian-Greek question and it seems to be that Macedonians are different enough in culture, language, and mindset enough that they're not Bulgarians. Though if enough Macedonians tell me otherwise, I'll reconsider.

Macedonia is like America. They don't really have much in the way of history yet but they appear to feel very strongly that they are a nation.

To anyone really wondering about the situation in Moldova I'll give a quick rundown :
- Russia is keeping an army in Transnistria as "peace keepers" while providing resources for the puppet state of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in order to keep Moldova in it's sphere of influence;
- This was all thought about a long time ago, as 40 % of Moldova's industry, while being part of USSR, was built in Transnistria ;
- Similar scenario to what happen in Georgia with Abkhazia and South Osetia;
- The only real alternative is unification with Romania, as the Moldovian state does not have enough economical resources to sustain itself, as the national economy would collapse without the money that diaspora sends back;
- People were and still are heavily brainwashed by russian propaganda with stupid stuff like : "Moldovians are not romanians, you don't share the same language or history" and other typical shit;
- Dodon is a mere puppet of Putin, with no power or decision making abilities;
- Even though EU is zorged, it is currently a good thing for Moldova as it facilitates the unification with Romania, while being quite hard to indoctrinate with New Age stuff due to the poverty and a powerful Christian heritage

I spent over a month in Moldova, got to know the culture decently. Here's some bullet points:

1) Ignore GDP numbers. They aren't a rich country but they are infinitely better than the African countries the GDP would equate them to. They aren't all slaves to debt and a great majority of their revenue is under the table and not counted. If you went to Moldova you more or less be in a working class city from the 1950's with no niggers to worry about. To put it in perspective, the typical Moldovan could live significantly longer on their savings than the typical American

2) Their economy was devastated recently by Jewish con artists that "robbed" their central bank of over a billion dollars. This hurt trust in their economy. They were constantly robbed by the Bolsheviks during the USSR era and so there is almost no generational wealth.

3) There are two cultures in the country, Romanian and Russian. The Russians have a major insecurity complex and the Romanian Moldovans are still feeling the cultural repercussions of Jewish communism. This cultural divide opens the doors for the people to be exploited. Also don't expect much of a bubbly personality from them until they know you better.

4) Moldovans have a fairly complex underground courier service that connects to every other EU country. When you absolutely need something done in a pinch, you call a Moldovan. The past summer they delivered some heavy equipment to us in Austria with almost no notice.

5) As with everywhere else in the world, the urban areas like Chisinau vote very liberal while the rural areas vote conservative.

Croats killed at least 1.5 million Serbs under NDH and ethnically cleansed and murdered the remaining 300,000 before the 90s war. Similarly Kosovo has been Serbian for longer than there have been Albanians in the Balkans, hell, for longer than Albanians have been a people. but WW1 killed half the serbian male population, ustashe did the rest, and after ww2 tito wanted to court the albanians so he prevented serbs who fought in the war from returning to their ancestral homeland in Kosovo and Metohija. from 1960 onwards there is an Albanian majority. In addition to the changes you suggested, I adjusted the borders between Ukraine and her neighbors to reflect accurate demographic data. Ceding some ethnic Hungarian, Russian, and Romanian land to their parent nations.
In addition, I improved to accuracy of Vojvodina a smidge. And I awarded Greece more land in Epirus that had a Greek majority. Friuli remains independent but unrecognized until we can determine their national status.

I've been on both sides of the border, and people in Moldova seem to be happier and more cohesive than those in Romania. Also, there's less to no gypsies. I don't know about the details or the circumstances that lead to this difference, my point is there's more important things than muh economics.

Economically speaking, Western Europe is better off than Romania is better off than Moldova, but socially and spiritually, it's almost as if the state of the population indicates the reverse.

My main concern is the preservation of social and genetic capital of my people. If that correlates with less "development" and a lower gdp, then so be it.
