I have the same experience. It ruins my digestion too no mater how well I’m eating. The most effective remedies for me are being out in nature, journaling, and having quality social interaction with others. Latter is not as easy to come by, but is probably the most important.
Why are you trying to learn a second language? While it’s a noble pursuit, you don’t really need it if you’re already an English speaker. It’s good for your brain, but if you’re having a hard time right now maybe learning something that’s a more creative expressive outlet would be better. Like teaching yourself to play an instrument or to paint

Become less fat, to start. Set yourself that little attainable goal. It's like when working on a car: if you think about how big the job is from beginning to end it's depressing, but you if break the job down into small jobs, well jacking up a car is easy. So is removing a tire. Face life the same way. You can only DO one thing at a time, so focus on one thing at a time. Make the whole process more enjoyable/possible.

Well, those are pretty complex food items compared to just a piece of meat. Maybe experiment with your diet. Eliminate things, add things back in, and see how your mood is affected.

I cycle through months of NEET LDAR depression and hypermanic self improvement. I gain muscle quickly only to lose it through weeks of "cba to eat" fasting. Normally my hibernation takes place during the winter, where I lock myself away from all my friends and responsibilites and spend weeks on end watching redpill youtube videos thinking I'm so smart and woke and playing video games.

Recently the sun has been out and for the past month or so I have managed to drag myself out of the hole. It began with just eating better for a while; the sun gave me an excuse to leave the house, and breathing the fresh grass air for the first time had me walking to the store and actually buying groceries for once. The next morning I actually had a breakfast I was looking forward to, and I managed to have 2 full meals that day.

Eventually this led to me having the guts (and energy) to leave the house and go lift for the first time in months. Pathetic how I couldn't even squat 40kg with good form for 5 sets. Laying in bed on my phone for hours each day had given me bad lower back and joint pain, and my eyesight had gotten worse from staring at the screens. Even so I managed to lift for 30 mins, and that night I slept better than I had in months.

This week I worked out 3 times, and have managed to leave the flat before 12pm each day. This is a massive improvement.

And so begins the steady cycle of putting myself back together. Hopefully this time will be more consistent then last time, and I won't collapse again after a minor set back.

I tried this for a while. It led to me laying in bed in a stupor for hours each day, ruminating over the past and future, remembering all my cringey embarassments and injustices and angers, having imaginary conversations in my head with people, giving them a piece of my mind or dreamdating the girls I was crushing on, and ultimately hating myself more for wasting all my time. No wifi, no cell data, plenty of books in the house, and I just lay in bed all day in a coma.

I realised it wasn't the internet that was the cause of the problem; sure it was the distraction that I used to fill the hole; but without the distraction the hole was still there. I have to tackle the root cause, not the bandaid.

Stepehn Pressfield calls this concept "Resistance" in his book "The War of Art", and it was this overwhelming spiritual resitance that was parlaysing me, not the distractions I was using to fulfill it.

Regardless, I now live in a house with flatmates, who are all internet users, so there is no way to escape the net. I have to learn to live with it in moderation. It is nice to have social interaction each day though, even if it's just a "hello" at breakfast. Makes things a bit brighter. Also forces me to keep clean and tidy and take pride in my living space.

Understood, but I would think that rummaging within your own mind is far better for you than the internet. On the internet you are distracting yourself and not addressing the problem. When you lay in bed in a stupor ruminating you might not be actively filling the hole. However, your subconscious is communicating with you and the communication is clear as no distractions are present to break that line of communication. You get angry, you cringe, etc because you are having real emotional reactions and know that those situations were not good situations. You are actively thinking of avoiding them and how to improve. You won't experience that on the internet.

It's not hard to do it right. Just do it right. And injuries aren't the end of the line anyway. Lots of jacked dudes hurt themselves and still come back stronger.

I've tweaked my back before, which hurt for a while, but it's nothing bad in the long term. Make sure you can always bail though, meaning you either use a power cage or squat rack, or you use bumper plates so you can drop the barbell on the ground. If you have the ability to bail, you will not only be able to bail before hurting yourself, you can also push yourself harder by going closer to your limit since you don't have to worry about crushing yourself underneath the bar.

I'm on day 12, first day I'm starting to feel horny and slight urges watch porn. Even if you’re not a scientist there is easy information out there on things like oxalates, nightshades, goitrogens etc. Most of the mainstream articles on them all have the condescending bs tone where they will first admit that these things are bad for us, but then try to convince you that there are still benefits, still have to eat your vegetables goy! Another thing to consider is that any fruits and vegetables from the Americas have only very recently been eaten by humans as far as evolution goes. I haven’t gone too in depth researching this, but since many of these plants are the highly inflammatory ones there could be some merit to avoiding those. There are harmful/inflammatory plants native to Europe as well, but I would imagine we are more adapted to deal with those. That’s just my guess though
I’ve been doing pretty good on the carnivore diet, but whenever I have tried to add plants back in it’s horrendous. Put sautéed mushrooms in an omelette and had terrible digestive pain for hours. The only plant food that’s sat on my stomach okay has been white rice. Why then would broccoli (which never existed in the form we see it now until recently) be important? I do occasionally put some plants in my diet, like right now I'm making a beef stew with sweet potato and carrots in it, but that's just for flavor, and by boiling for hours I'm processing the shit outta them.
