What I long for is an ice age, sudden and irreversible and lasting for a long enough time that society breaks down and people start to prioritise their own again.

Before you call me out for being a defeatist or a shill, I have been frequenting this place ever since 2014, usually lurking in what was an adolescent curiosity to learn about what was going on before me.

There is no new talent in art, nor are there any new ideas or movements. Technology is subverted to work against, not for, the common man. Every day, I wonder if I have enough power to get up and change what is going on, to lead or to be a part of the only sane men left. That thought is the only thing that brings any happiness anymore.
