It seems there are two options:
Option #1: Since he is in Auckland Prison, you could simply address a letter to him at the prison's address.
Option #2: You could email the above address, asking for his information. Perhaps they'd include a prisoner number that is necessary to deliver mail to that person.

I did some reading, and prisoners may spend up to $70 at the commissary per week, and may not have more than $200 in their prison bank account at any time. It seems the only way to send money is by addressing a check to either the prison, or to the inmate directly – their website says cash can only be deposited in-person at the prison.
If you addressed the check to the prisoner and post-dated it, I wonder if they could hold onto it until their balance is eventually under $200. If the prison keeps custody of the check, though, I don't know if that'd work.
Somebody should ask him these types of questions in a letter, and explain that the response will be posted on Zig Forums, so that all pertinent information can be relayed to us.

Actually they're pretty leniant with letters… I went through a phase years ago where I was penpals with several serial killers. We discussed gory details and in some cases it was clear these guys were getting off on reliving their crimes by writing and they would say offensive shit towards the victims/victims families etc… In the US prison system they do screen and preread mail but as long as it doesn't contain contraband or plans etc for something illegal they let them go through.
Now, New Zealand may be another matter entirely. I am interested if they'll let the letter the user posted in here go through. I plan to make my letter a little more subtle to increase my chances of him getting it, at least on the first one.
Have no ides what their letters policy is and they could always make a special case for him because of just how high profile the attack was.
You have a right to receive and send mail, even in locked psychiatric hospitals.
Prisons will open it and search it for contraband and have strict rules on what can and can't be sent/received. You can't send porn or pictures of kids generally (maybe exceptions for your own in some cases) and you can't write in code about doing hits or criminal activities but people still find ways.

I cannot remember where I read or heard the story but I did hear about someone being penpals with him. It wasn't a white nationalist or even a supporter really but more just someone writing him because of how well known the case was.
