Mainly just seeing how messed up the catholic church is, living in a household of the typical 'I'm a Christian who doesn't go to church' and some mental illnesses. Just wondering what to look forward to after I die.

I grew up in a godless house, though with religious grandparents.

The catholic church has been inflitrated and messed up from within intentionally, to destroy the faith of the catholics. Again, watch more michael e jones. Despite that, it was very helpful to have a smart and helpful guy confront me about some of my issues.

In any case, you should not look forward to death. As much of a release it may be, you may miss many opportunities to do good in this world if you focus on death; good for yourself, good for others. You might well be a focal point for your family to find god better.
