adblock is blocking javascript files on the NSFW pages.

I just assume cuckchan has introduced some overzealous data analytics ad service, something which ad blockers are designed to stop. Such services usually hand over identifying information, your browser history, etc. to a third party service. You could mitigate some of this by removing all cookies before visiting cuckchan, or with some anonymity tools..

to be fair, google recaptcha is the epitome of data mining as it takes cookies (cross-site interactions), ip/machine info, form data and a log of site interactions and sends it all to an ai/data-center to determine if you're a human… but i don't think adblockers would last long if it disabled google recaptha since it's becoming ubiquitous… Having to go through the annoying 'select pictures of X' shite is a bit of a win if you're worried about anonymity.

Since 3/30/2019, EasyList (a continuously curated list of ad distributors that is used as a kind of target list by all major ad-blocking extensions) has put 4cdn.org on their list. This causes the catalog and various other functions of the site not to work properly anymore. To the oblivious, 4chan (Zig Forums included) just "stopped working".

Based uBlock Origin team implemented a fix.

Due to the current international developments, Kohlchan will have to stop providing service in some countries.

The first reason for this is the recently adopted EU copyright reform which holds operators of Internet platforms liable for copyright infringements committed by its users. It is virtually impossible for a small website like Kohlchan to continue operating in the EU under those conditions.

Another reason for this are the ever-increasing attacks by the established media and various governments against the freedom to independently form an opinion on the Internet. The worst among the recent acts was performed by a formerly renowned German newspaper depicting Kohlchan as a terrorist platform. This can't be interpreted in any other way except as an attack on the freedom of speech and expression that Kohlchan offers.

As Kohlchan has already been defamed internationally both in print and on the net, it would be naive to expect an improvement. Evidently critical journalism that had once made the media great has been abandoned and instead these traditional media outlets made themselves into tools promoting certain agendas.

Kohlchan's administration has therefore realized that KC cannot continue to exist in its present form under this sinister atmosphere without endangering the administration, moderation or the user base.

Consequently the service will be discontinued regionally: visitors with IP addresses from the EU, Switzerland, New Zealand and Australia will be denied access from tomorrow on. MaxMind GeoIP database will be used to determine the country of origin.

I thought it might have been the calls to adtng.com in the scripts that caused it to be blocked somehow (even though it's the same script on 4channel and 4chan). adtng.com is only blocked on that easy list as an href, so i guess that lets 4chan's ajax request for tracking through unblocked.
