I'm aware that their racial theories were more complex than "German good, other bad." At least in the sense that there were many different "others", some of which could have been allies. However, when it came down to it, Germans would have always put their own interests above anyone else's. Which isn't necessarily wrong per se, but to pretend otherwise is intellectually dishonest.
I would object to the idea that their culture was very much homogeneous (anyone who's been to Germany will be able to tell you that the Southern regions have a different culture from the Northern ones), but nevertheless, yes communism was a threat, and national socialism was at least in part a way to deal with it.

I'm not an expert on this, but as far as I remember they were considered at least lower, or even pretty scum-like, which later turned out to be unsustainable as many Germans came in contact with the (European) Slavs / Russians etc. and the former bad picture wasn't sustainable anymore as they were pretty much like us Germans.
Could have been very different for the Asian Russians tho (aka. Rpaing Squads).
