How much do you think personal background affects people’s stance on feminism? Particularly men. I’ve noticed that a lot of my friends with single mothers and/or really overbearing mothers and limp-wristed, weak fathers are feminists. On the other hand, men with healthy nuclear families are opposed to feminism or apathetic to it.
Women don’t count. It’s in their interest to be feminist; that’s the only reason they need.
