Pic related is gun grabber propaganda someone posted on Zig Forums. You will notice the horrific picture and the misleading stat written underneath it. We have no idea what happened to that woman, but when we notice the writing underneath, we assume that we will get an explanation that will capture our imagination. People tend to ignore statistics and facts and this misleading add will trick people into attributing an ambiguous statistic with a horrific image. You may also notice that the ammunition has been mislabeled. It is obviously not 38 special. This was done on purpose. People in general don't care about suck technicalities, so while pro-gun people argue about what caliber the ammo is, the primary target of the propaganda (women) will ignore the counter argument and see those arguing against it has heartless. The propagandists set up a strawman argument for their political rivals to argue against. They know how we argue and they know what works. Facts don't work, since propaganda is geared toward the lowest common denominator in society rather than people who are informed.
The biggest problems that I see with the anti-gay bumper sticker are. In current year, it takes balls to spread actual propaganda like this. Assuming whoever did it was genuine, I must show some respect. This is not however, good propaganda. I think it is genuine, since enemy propaganda disguised as our own, would have been made better. It would make us look like violent, unhinged, dangerous people.
