Don't necessarily disagree with the point you're making here user, but I did almost a year in state prison here in the US on a 5 yr sentence before paroled and while indeed the type of medium security place I was at was pretty gravy, your cell is not in any fucking way apartment sized. Its pretty tiny. Now where I was there was open movement most of the day so you could go leave and do whatever but if you go to a maximum security prison you're gonna be in that cell 22 hours a day and taking dumps 3 feet from your cell who is watching TV
