Oregon has a law that lets the governor compel state senators to show up and do their job because they also have rules that require so many to be present for a quorum that means they can get anything passed.
Democrats and Republicans both have pulled this shit in the past and both have been dragged back kicking and screaming.

There is a lot of oddity about this woman (Kate Brown) but unless you are either a USAF veteran or someone with an understanding of the military and that time period you may not originally see it.
First off her bio claims she was born in Spain:
"Brown was born in Torrejón de Ardoz, Community of Madrid, Spain, where her father was serving in the United States Air Force, and grew up in Minnesota." (Born in 1960).
Now we can narrow down which base it was due to her proximity to Madrid and from there we know that the base was likely Torrejón Air Base.
During that time period and in that exact area an individual named Felipe González became prominent and began pushing the Spainish Socialist Party agenda. This is important as the party eventually took over that area and the area is now (today) a major hub of the European Union which, as we all know, has been absolutely following the socialist line.
Fast forward to her next stop which was Arden Hills, Minnesota. Note that there are no Air Force installations within this proximity so her Father either retired or something else but this is where her bio next lands her. Arden Hills has been on our map before due to the Bethel University connection which connects to Bethel Church in Redding, CA and a few places in OR and their constantly being connected to some trafficking issue we have looked into, in the past.
From there she went to get a degree in Women's Studies in CO and then finally her law degree from Lewis & Clark (Northwestern School) in Environmental Law.
Her entire history has all the earmarks of indoctrination, education, location, and where she eventually was dropped off for needed political position. Bottom line as I see it and given I know/knew the USAF very well during that time period is her claims about that specific military installation do not add up to me, it makes no sense as the US was in the process of being removed at that point in history and there would likely have only have been civilians there, no active duty personnel and so on. Something is up here…..
